The name's Nelly and I'm a 23-year-old female, residing in Helsinki, Finland.
I graduated from Helsinki's school of technical studies (HELTECH) in Spring 2012 and studied for a degree in photography as a media-assistant for a three-year period.

I started taking real interest in event/band/music photography back in 2007, after reading different foreign music magazines such as Kerrang!, Big Cheese, Rock Sound etc, but I never thought in a million years that I could be able to actually pursue it.

Bought my first DSLR (a Nikon D60) in May 2008 and the first gig I ever scored a photopass for was a Leathermouth / Reggie And the Full Effect-show in Farmingdale, New York in September '08. Everything started rolling from there. I started building my portfolio and got to shoot more and more shows here in the good ol' Finland.

Joined the team of a finnish webzine - Noise as a photographer/freelance journalist in late 2008, started our own webzine - JohnDoeRevolution with a friend in early 2009, scored a position as a commercial photographer for Cyber Shop in the summer of 2009, started working for Kaaoszine as a photographer/interviewer and scored an internship for the biggest music media in Finland (Popmedia, and thus working for magazines such as Rumba, Inferno, Rytmi and Episodi) in 2011.

After that I've been published in several magazines and medias such as; Soundi, YleX, Como, grph, Tosimies, Keski-Uusimaa, Suosikki and the Australian Hysteria-magazine.

Right now I'm enjoying life, working, taking freelance-jobs and trying to relax once in a while.
